So finals season is among us. It's the time when college students of all kinds teach themselves a semester's worth of information over again in a week or less (or more depending on how much of a"good" student you are lol). I have one final left that stands between me and my summer vacation and the end of my first year of nursing school. This is my main 8 credit class (yes 8 credits!). A class worth that much can really make or break you. So far I have a pretty solid B-B+ in the class. I would like to get some sort of A in the class though. If I get at least an 88 on my final then I can get an A- in the class which would be absolutely amazing! If I get a 100 then I can get an A but that would really be putting my hopes high lol. The test is on pediatrics, med-surg, and some psych. It will also have 5 death and dying questions on it, so that's 5 questions right there that I'm already getting wrong because the lady who lectures about death and dying hardly ever keeps anyone's attention. I'm not even going to get started about that woman because I could go on for days about her and her emotions. But anyway, the med-surg and psych are pretty recent so I don't plan to spend too much time on it, pediatrics on the other hand is another story. I'm going to try and stay confident and positive, how long will that last is a whole other situation lol. I have 5 days to really get the information solidified in my brain. The hard part now is actually taking advantage of those 5 days and starting to study instead of procrastinate. Let the challenge begin. Next time I write a post hopefully I'll have good news to report!
