One thing about nursing is that it is a female dominated occupation. I am all for women doing their thing and being successful but with that said I would love it if a couple more drops of testosterone were to be added in the nursing field circulation. I'm sorry call me whatever you want to call me but there is only so much I can take with girls. Having guys around would make things easier. For one thing, it would give me something to look at every now and again besides all these emotionally confused women. I mean just because I'm trying to be a nurse doesn't mean I can't appreciate the male population every now again ;-). One thing that can also get annoying is that if there are guys in nursing, a good 80% I wana say are gay. Don't get me wrong, gay people are great and I think they should be able to do whatever they want. It just leaves a smaller number of straight guys in the field, and I know a few gay guys who like the challenge of turning a straight guy gay. That's great for them but that leaves less for me which is the problem. So my advice to all the guys out there, if you're thinking about nursing do it! Us girls need you to keep us sane. I know I probably seem like a boy crazy random hot mess writing a stupid blog but hey being that way never hurt anybody.
